The Hexagram as a symbol of jewish people was offered by Vienesse JESUITS in 1648 on demand of the German Emperor ferdinand III, who wished to assign flag of honour to the Crypto Jews of Prague for their help in the Thirty Years War.
The six-pointed star/HEXagram is a curse mark no matter what name it may have: Star of David, Solomon's Seal, Double Triangle, Shield of David, etc. When an occult practitioner puts a curse on someone, he uses the HEXagram.
